Position Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic high energy candidate to join our team delivering medium scale commercial, civic, municipal and institutional design projects.
The current opportunity is offered as a full-time position (Temporary summer interns – see alterative job posting).
Wage range is approximated between $44,000 – 56,000 ($21 – $27/hr.). Benefits package includes health, dental, and vision insurance, 401K retirement plan with employer contribution, performance bonus compensation, paid vacation, and personal time.
Candidate should be fluent in design, drafting, and general office software programs and operating systems including:
· Autodesk AutoCAD
· Trimble Sketchup
· Microsoft Office (Including Project)
· Apple OS
What will you do?
Primary responsibilities include development of concept designs, construction document drafting, preparation of technical specifications, and construction cost analysis. Existing conditions verification, meeting attendance, and oversight of construction operations may also be included in day-to-day job responsibilities.
Ability to prepare detailed construction documentation within a collaborative group environment is a must. The prospective team member should be capable of interacting with clients in a professional manner. Education and Experience:
Candidate should have completed coursework and obtained a Bachelor’s of Architecture (or BA/BS in Architecture) or obtained a Master’s of Architecture degree from an NAAB accredited institution.
Candidate should be enrolled in the National Council of Architectural Registration Board (NCARB) Intern Development Program (IDP) with candidate pursuing licensure.
